Cable One said Thursday that it struck a deal with online video company Synacor to launch a TV Everywhere site.
Phoenix-based Cable One is one of the smallest cable MSOs to develop a TV Everywhere site that will allow cable customers to access TV series and movies from networks contained in their cable subscriptions. Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA), Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC), Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and other major MSOs already operate TVE sites.
Buffalo, N.Y.-based Synacor has also developed TVE portals for Charter, Grande Communications and other cable MSOs.
