Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) said it launched a new TWC Central portal on Tuesday, which replaces Road Runner, the brand it used previously for its high-speed Internet service and online portal. The MSO is looking to boost ad revenue through the portal, which features slots for rich media ads including in-banner video ads. The portal also contains links to TV Everywhere programming on TWCTV.com and can be used to access its email, VoiceZone and DVR manager products. Read more
