Can you say price war? Vudu can. The online movie rental site, bought by Walmart in February, today dropped the fee for about 4,000 of its "top films" to $2 for a 48-hour rental window.
The new price--which is good until the end of the year--is well below the price for Amazon.com and iTunes. Movies can be streamed over connected TVs and Blu-ray players or on the Vudu Box.
