Company Releases Current Customer Impact Numbers Related to Storm
 
BETHPAGE, NY, November 10, 2012 (12:00 P.M.) – Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE: CVC) today issued the following Saturday afternoon updated progress report on its restoration efforts:
1. Optimum Households represent residential and small business customers with at least one Optimum service.
 
More than 50,000 Optimum WiFi hotspots across its Tri-State service area were operational as of Saturday. Optimum WiFi hotspots provide free wireless Internet access for Optimum Online customers.
 
Customers who have power but no Optimum service should call their local customer service number or go to Optimum.net to report the issue.
 
The company has announced that customers can receive credits for the days they have not had Optimum service, even if the disruption was caused by a power outage. The company is asking customers to call after their Optimum service is restored, in order to calculate and apply the full credit to which a customer is entitled.
