Cox's new Plus Package, its MoCA-based whole home DVR offering, also features a Trio tru2way interactive program guide.
"Tru2way software serves as a ‘universal translator,' so retail devices like HDTVs can receive a full range of digital cable services, including interactive guides, video on demand, and new applications and services yet to be deployed," a company release describes. Planned services are pretty ambitious and include games, shopping, banking, and voting/polling applications in addition to standards like music, news, weather and local updates.
Cox's whole home rollout includes Cisco set-top boxes that are tru2way compliant.
