The following table lists earnings among the top cable MSOs (multiple system operators) in the United States during the first quarter of 2011.

Video subscriber loss continued to be a theme for traditional cable operators, but for some, like Comcast, the numbers didn't dampen optimism as the number of broadband subscribers grew across the board.

Satellite operators continued to add video service subscribers, with DirecTV posting its highest numbers ever thanks to subscriber growth in Latin America.
