AT&T (NYSE: T) said it'll use its Multiview IPTV application to allow its U-verse TV subscribers to watch live video from up to four different tennis courts during the U.S. Open.

In addition to carrying Tennis Channel's main broadcast feed from the tennis championship in Flushing, N.Y., U-verse subscribers will be able to choose from matches running on five other courts. The standard-definition feed for AT&T's Multiview app runs on channel 661, and the high-def feed runs on channel 1661. It will also feature live matches on four other channels (662-666) and (1662-1666 for HD).

AT&T is also offering subscribers a Spanish-language version of Multiview. Paquete Espanol Multiview will run on channel 3001.

AT&T isn't the only pay TV provider allowing subscribers to track several live U.S. Open matches on a single screen. DirecTV (Nasdaq: DTV) will use a Mix Channel to let viewers track action from six U.S. Open feeds.

While Cablevision  (NYSE: CVC) has offered similar interactive channels from sporting events such as NBC's coverage of the Olympics, the cable MSO hasn't been able to reach an agreement with Tennis Channel to offer its subscribers U.S. Open coverage.
