Just in time for Easter, 400,000 union workers at AT&T (NYSE: T) could be walking off the job if a new contract isn't reached by 12:01 a.m. on April 8. The Communications Workers of America union says AT&T is trying to shift more costs to its employees, and that this latest stalemate is similar to one with Verizon last August. AT&T says it must find a way to reduce costs. It cites employee health care rates that went up 8 percent in 2010, and have gone up 54 percent since 2004. Article
