Broadcasters have 10 more days to marshal their forces and answer a bevy of FCC suggestions about what they should do with their over-the-air spectrum.

Faced with an April 18 deadline--too close to the annual NAB convention in Las Vegas, the TV folks say--the broadcasters got 10 more days to answer FCC proposals to let wireless broadband take or at least share part of their spectrum and to develop a plan to improve digitally challenged VHF transmissions so that some UHF spectrum can be freed up for other uses.

Of course the broadcasters will no doubt use the confluence of their best and brightest in Sin City to formulate strategies against what they see as a blatant government/wireless industry grab for their spectrum.
