Comcast enlists Congress' support for NBCU deal

Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA), making the most of the multiple millions it's paid to Washington lobbyists, has enrolled the support of 98 (or so) Democrat and Republican members of Congress in its ongoing battle with an increasingly nitpicky FCC to acquire NBC Universal properties.

In a letter to the FCC obtained by Politico, the elected politicians told their appointed counterparts that "further delay ... could undermine much-needed jobs and investment."
