Comcast expands Xfinity Mobile to BlackBerry devices
Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) expanded its Xfinity Mobile application to Blackberry devices, following the launch of apps for Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone and iPad and mobile devices running on Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android platform.

The MSO is one of the first pay TV providers to support Blackberry devices. Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) and Cablevision (NYSE: CVC) focused initially on Apple devices, and have said they will eventually build Android apps.
Comcast's Blackberry app allows subscribers to schedule remote DVR recordings and forward phone calls from a home phone line to a Blackberry. It also allows subscribers to access emails from their Comcast.net accounts on a Blackberry, and to sync their Xfinity address books with Blackberry contracts.
While Comcast subscribers who download the Xfinity Mobile app to a BlackBerry will be able to watch movie trailers on demand, the MSO isn't offering any full-length TV episodes through the app.
