Lynch, who reports to VP of technical operations Marty Robinson, replaces Ralph Martinez, who was recently named regional VP of the MSO's Twin Cities region in Minnesota. She had worked previously as area VP for Comcast in Southern Colorado and as general manager of its Mile High Region.
Comcast said Lynch is the first woman to oversee operations for its systems in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula. She'll be responsible for a team of about 600 employees. Her territory will run from San Francisco through Santa Clara County, and south to Monterey County.
