Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) launched a portal for commercial customers Wednesday called Upware, which features cloud-based data backup services such as Carbonite and Mozy.

Its Upware marketplace also offers access to document sharing service YouSendIt, online storage service Box, file sharing service Soonr, data backup service DigitalSafe and security services from Norton and Websense. Comcast didn't detail the business relationships it has with the companies touted in the portal or say whether it would receive a cut of the revenue generated when its business customers use the portal to order new products. A Comcast spokesman didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

FierceCable first reported in October that Comcast filed a trademark application for the brand Upware for use in "an online marketplace featuring software as a service services."
