There's a right way to offer TV Everywhere and a wrong way to offer TV Everywhere and, according to Discovery (Nasdaq: DISCA), Dish Network (Nasdaq: DISH) is going about it the wrong way by slinging Discovery content across the Internet to laptops, iPhones, iPads and Android smart phones.

Last month Dish started using Sling-enabled receivers to deliver programming to give subscribers "24/7 access to all the live and recorded content included with their Dish Network programming subscription."

The problem with that, though, is that "Discovery has not granted Dish the right to distribute its programming service over the Internet," according to Tara Corvo, Discovery's counsel in a filing with the FCC.
