Cox Communications signed a broad carriage deal with Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) which allowed it to begin offering subscribers access to the WatchESPN mobile apps and TV Everywhere website on Thursday.

Disney said Cox will launch WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney XD and WATCH Disney Junior next week, and that its subscribers will be able to access the upcoming WATCH ABC and WATCH ABC Family apps and websites.

The multiplatform distribution agreement covers 70 services including Disney Channel, ABC Family, ESPN's family of networks, Longhorn Network and retransmission-consent for Los Angeles ABC station KABC-TV.

Disney announced similar pacts earlier this year with Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) and Cablevision (NYSE: CVC).
