Following a report last week that showed its broadband wireless service could interfere with up to 75 percent of GPS receivers nationwide, wholesale LTE provider LightSquared has made additional concessions aimed at appeasing regulators.

The company, which announced last week that it would help FreedomPop launch a free wireless broadband service next year, told the FCC that it will delay a scheduled increase in transmission power. It also proposed that its spectrum that is closest to GPS frequencies not be under the FCC's jurisdiction but rather the National Space-Based Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering Forum.

LightSquared is also turning to YouTube in an attempt to dismiss reports that its service will cause interference with GPS receivers, producing this video which demonstrates a modified antenna that it claims won't cause interference.
