> Move on if you've heard this before, but Cox Communications CEO Pat Esser has reaffirmed that his MSO is set to become the first U.S. cable company to offer mobile wireless to consumers and businesses as part of a services bundle. Story.

> Comcast, in love with what the Apple iPad can do, has unveiled a Web-based remote control application to run on it called the Xfinity Remote. "The iPad looks to be a fabulous bridge between the TV and the computer," Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said during a keynote brunch at The Cable Show. Story.

> Oberon Media will bring a portion of its casual games catalog to 3D TV and "help our partners promote and differentiate their next-generation living room devices while leveraging Oberon's full-scale connected TV game solutions," said Sharon Roseman, senior director of iTV business partnerships. Story.

And finally... SeaChange has introduced "Watch & Buy," to let operators leverage existing VoD infrastructure to sell-through merchandise. Watch & Buy includes a "lightweight set-top application, user interface customization and fully managed back-end order fulfillment," the company said in a news release.
