No word on when service will launch

Service Electric said it has struck a deal with HBO to offer subscribers access to the popular HBO Go mobile video application and TV Everywhere website.

The MSO, which counts about 217,000 subscribers in Pennsylvania and Northwest New Jersey, may be the smallest cable provider yet to reach an agreement to launch HBO Go. Last month, Phoenix-based Cable One announced a deal to launch HBO Go. Most major cable MSOs and satellite TV providers offer HBO Go to their customers.

Service Electric hasn't said exactly when it will flip the switch on HBO Go. On Friday, a promotion on its customer site for HBO Go said, "coming soon." Last month, Service Electric posted on its Twitter account that it was testing the service.
