Time Warner has unveiled its business class mobile high-speed WiMAX data service in Texas where it offers service in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and Wichita Falls. Time Warner offers WiMAX as part of an investment in 4G provider Clearwire and Texas marks the first market where the MSO is bundling it into its commercial services package.

WiMAX will be available for TWC customers who currently use Internet, phone, cable TV or Ethernet. TWC is making available a 3G/4G USB modem as part of a two-year contract fee. While WiMAX is hardly as ubiquitous as 3G mobile, Time Warner said that its business customers in Texas will have access to Clearwire service where it's offered outside the TWC footprint.
