Here's a dizzying thought--literally. Turner Broadcasting will show the cars going round and round (all left turns) on July 3 when it televises the Coke Zero 400 race in 3D TV on DirecTV's N3D channel. The action will also be available in three dimensions on TNT Racebuddy NASCAR website.

Of course it would be cheaper to just buy airfare to Daytona and tickets to the race than the $2,400 to $7,000 a first-time 3D watcher needs to shell out for a 3D-compatible TV or computer and the necessary silly glasses accessory. Still, when you count the cost of refreshments at the race, it's probably a wash.
