WICT names Nomi Bergman as Woman of the Year

Bright House Networks president Nomi Bergman has been selected as the Woman of the Year by Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the group said Monday.

Bergman, who part of the team at Advance Newhouse that launched Bright House in 2003, will be given the award at a WICT luncheon in New York on Oct. 3.

WICT also honored Turner Entertainment Networks senior vice president of strategy development Jennifer Dorian and HGTV senior vice president and general manager Kathleen Finch with its Woman to Watch awards.
