G.hn News
G.hn is the common name for a home network technology family of standards developed under the International Telecommunication Union's Standardization arm (ITU-T) and promoted by the HomeGrid Forum and several other organizations. The G.hn specification defines networking over power lines, phone lines and coaxial cables with data rates up to 1 Gbit/s. G.hn proponents offer the technical promise that one semiconductor device can be used for networking over any home wire, thereby saving on development and deployment costs. (Source: Wikipedia)
