Washington leads rankings of top broadband states

Washington leads all U.S. states in terms of development of broadband infrastructure, according to a report released Wednesday by TechNet, which describes itself as a bipartisan policy and political network. Massachusetts placed second in the report, which ranked states based on development of broadband infrastructure "promoting economic development, stronger communities, improved delivery of government services, and upgraded educational systems." Rounding out the top 10 were Delaware, Maryland, California, New Jersey, Vermont, Virginia, Utah and New York. Read more
